French, late 19th century, carved green marble with gilt metal mounts, vasiform body with turned cover, acanthus leaf banding at shoulder and draped floral swag, pedestal base with gilt metal banding, stepped square platform base, drilled and electrified and fitted with two-light socket, 27-3/4 in., old break and repair to base support with internal fractures visible at top of body below shoulder and at neck, lacking screw on finial.
