British or Continental, 19th century, pair with single side handle, with wheel cut hurricane shades fitted over the socket, one cut with leafy wreath centering initials "P.II.", tallest 10-1/4 in.; pair with two side handles, with wheel cut hurricane shades fitted over the pan, each cut with leafy wreath centering a Brazilian crown over "P.II.", overall 16-1/4 in.Note: The crest is for Emperor Pedro II of Brazil (1825-1891). - Provenance: Private Collection
