"Rising Wind", globular-form pottery vase with applied layers of irregular bands of colored clay, peach-colored top rim to a lavender rim at base creating a view of distant hills and drifting clouds and water, base signed "Miyashita", museum accession number "2000.51", 7-1/4 x 12-3/4 in., with original square covered box with calligraphy-decorated top with seal mark, four felt pads attached to base, appears to be in good condition overall.
