Shepard, London: Methuen and Co., Ltd., 1926 and 1928, first editions of two of the Pooh books, Winnie's stating "117th Thousand" on the rear flap, 7-3/4 x 5-1/4 in., both in first issue dust jackets, Winnie: very good in original green cloth, top edge gilt, with gilt decorations, light rubbing at the extremities, top corners slightly bumped in a very good dust jacket with somewhat spine-darkened, darkened front and back covers, some loss at the extremities; House: very good in original pinkish cloth, top edge gilt, with gilt decorations, top and bottom of spine very slightly bumped in a very good dust jacket with some darkening to the covers and the spine, small amounts of loss at the extremities.
