Augustus Mitchell, 1863, 84 hand-colored maps and city plans on 49 sheets (complete), some being insets and others are double-page maps, 30 pages of additional charts at rear, bound in original three-quarter leather over pebbled cloth with embossed title on the upper cover, all maps with Mitchell's typical floral border, 15-3/4 x 13 in.; housed in a custom clamshell case with morocco spine label, binding is very good with wear at the extremities, a three-letter monogram inked on upper cover, some loss at the top and bottom of the spine, maps are near fine, with only some toning.
