Hart, 1855, third octavo edition, three volumes in elaborately blind-stamped and gilt-lettered brown morocco, all edges gilt, gilt dentelles, Howes M129, Sabin 43411, considered by some to be the best of the octavos for the superiority of the coloring, complete with the 120 hand-colored plates, 10-3/4 x 7-1/4 in. the front and rear hinges of each volume are broken thus very good in original leather, some minor wear at the extremities, really quite a lovely set.
