Antwerp, circa 1592, Ortelius' hand-colored map of Asia from the Theatrum Orbis Terrarum, the first modern world atlas, nice title cartouche, sailing ships, and a very distinct Northeast Passage, 17-1/4 x 22-1/2 in., paper has been professionally restored and has been repaired at both bottom corners and at the bottom of the center line, scattered soiling and a bit of foxing, otherwise very good.
