Greyhound Standish Birmingham, mid 19th century, figural greyhounds running, watching guard and top finial with gentleman and two greyhounds, shaped base with scroll, foliate and shell decoration, two cut-glass inkwells, marked on base "Pub By/Elkington & Co./ April 1855", 8-1/2 in., loss to plate, scratches; glass wells with chips and damage; top figure missing part of leash.
