dated 1833, cal.69, manufactured in New Haven, Connecticut, converted from flintlock with removal of flash pan and frizzen, markings "US/(Arrow and olive branch crossing)/E. WHITNEY" at lockplate, also "NEW/HAVEN/1833" behind lock, top of barrel marked at left side "US/AH/(circled P)" and "S. CAROLINA" (the latter mark possibly spurious), stamped "34" on barrel bands, ramrod with tulip style end, overall 57-3/4 in.

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction, or will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item.
