French, possibly Sevres, hinged metal box covered in robin's-egg blue enamel and painted with gilt-framed reserves of romantic rural scenes and flowers, 3-3/4 in. overall white interior of egg has crack in enamel. Provenance: Private Collection, Wilkesboro, North Carolina

Condition
Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser’s risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges.
