Note:
Beyer was a graduate of the Dusseldorf Academy of Art and first traveled to America in 1848. He settled first in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and visited Virginia in 1854 and then stayed there in 1856-57.
Condition
each somewhat faded, with toning and foxing, hinged into mat; matching wood frames, with light wear
