attributed to Thomas Chandler, circa 1850, likely Kirksey's Crossroads, runny mottled olive green alkaline glaze, ovoid form, iron slip broken stem floral decoration to front and back of jar, applied arched lug handles to shoulder of jar, slightly curved neck with semi round rim, 13-3/4 in.

glaze voids and anomalies as made, kiln debris, stabilized hairline around half of base likely as made with residue, hairline is evident in interior, 1/4 in. glaze chip to interior of one handle, 1/4 in. glaze chip to edge of other handle, glaze craquelure to top of jar with 1 in. hairline, two spider hairlines to interior as made, other minor scratches and surface abrasions, otherwise good condition
