probably Continental, 18th/19th century, dovetailed form with early surface and traces of grain paint, inlaid escutcheon, slant lid over paper lined interior above two dovetailed drawers, one with early water color pasted in, 12 x 17 x 12-1/2 in.
good condition overall, scattered pest damage, some distress at lower molding and drawer facings, surface wear and abrasions
