18th century, dial signed "Joseph Stancliffe, Barkisland", square brass dial set with moon and calendar dials, finely engraved with scrolling foliate and bird decoration, brass movement, oak and mahogany case with broken-arch pediment, waisted case with quarter columns, 87 x 20 x 10 in., later brass finial and rosettes (lacking finials at outer corners), works and dial associated (saddle board with later risers), dial resurfaced with some surface wear especially to painted moon dial, case generally good condition.
