possibly Tang dynasty, standing four square and wearing a saddle, earthenware with polychrome accents to saddle and eyes, 14-1/2 x 16-1/2 x 6 in.
Note: A thermoluminescence test completed by the QED Laboratory in Aix-en-Provence, France accompanies this lot. The analysis conclusion states "The average age of the last firing of the sample is between 1300 and 1800 years (1c)."
