possibly Ming Dynasty, seated figure resting on a lotus-carved plinth, gilding and traces of cobalt to head, 13 in.. Condition: surface wear, dirt and gilding losses overall, gaps to casting under both hands as made, early repair at one finger (possibly as made), casting gap at headdress, later screw attachments to lotus base (top and base possibly associated), casting flaws at back, repair at neck (some retouch fluorescence under black light), roughness to casting at back of figure with possible repair, head and hands possibly associated.
