probably Anglo-Indian or Indonesian, 18th/19th century, carved and polychromed lid with leather fringe and decorated iron hasp, set on a conforming box with metal hinges and lockplate, iron carrying handles, double eagle decoration, tropical exotic hardwood throughout, 15-1/2 x 23-3/4 x 14-1/2 in.
