probably Colonial, 18th century, dense figured hardwood throughout, dovetailed construction, lid with iron strap hinges, lidded interior till, facade with floral and scroll decoration in relief with red and green painted and gilt highlights, 16-1/4 x 35-1/4 x 17 in.
