Green Lilies, White Lilies, Yellow Lilies, Pink Lilies, 1998, from an edition of 35 and 20 artist proofs, each signed on the edge "D.S." and inscribed, Rosenthal Fine Art, Inc, publisher, an installation of twelve reverse enamel painted bas relief glass blocks, each 15 x 11 in., with linen wrapped Luan mount, 33-3/4 x 73 x 3 in.
Provenance: Adamar Fine Arts Gallery, Miami, Florida purchased in 2005 for $60,000 (accompanied by a facsimile of the receipt and other documents); Jerry and Deena Kaplan Collection of Modern Art and Crafts
Note: Each block is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by the publisher, Rosenthal Fine Art Inc. Each block retailed for $6,500.00 in 2006.
Condition
enamel on two blocks with some retouch, one with draw crackle, some small abrasions; mount with some surface dirt
Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
