British/American, 20th century, 62 assorted dishes: 36 Pickard China dishes, 20 dinner plates, eight dessert plates, eight saucers, decorated by Crest Studio, red rim, company mark on bases, 10-3/4 in.; 11 dinner plates, Abercrombie & Fitch Co. mark on base, gilt rim, 10-5/8 in.; 11 Ridgways Bedford Ware dinner plates, mark to base, scenes by Cyril Gorainoff by special request of Abercrombie & Fitch, signed and titled, yellow accents, one with note on back, 10 in.; four Royal Doulton dinner plates, mark to base, image transfer decorated, each 10-1/4 in.; horse and rider sculpture, rope reins, molded and hand painted, titled "Gone Away", signed and dated "#7 MNewmark '54", 11-1/4 in.; Provenance: A Private New York Collection
horse sculpture has restorations to three legs and has hairline crack to base, felt pad is coming off, several dishes with chips to bases and other scattered chips, scratches, some loss to paint, some gilt loss, crazing, other typical surface wear consistent with age and use
Condition
Purchased items not picked up in Richmond by noon on Sunday will then be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
