circa 1959, custom made black matador style short jacket, extensively decorated with rhinestones, gold and silver sequins, and white beads, interior label for "Brooks Costume Company/ 3 West 61st Street/New York" with "Mr. D. Button" ink, matching trousers with white suspenders and attached foot straps, jacket length 16-1/2 in., trouser length 52 in.
Note:Mr. Button wore the costume in a performance of Don Quixote in Moscow in 1959 and later wore the costume in a memorial show for the loss of the U.S. Figure Skating Team in the 1961 Sabena Flight 548 crash. Brooks Costume Company was one of the major theatrical costume companies in New York in the early to mid 20th century

The NC Sales Tax will not apply to any items being shipped out of state (unless the client resides in North Carolina) or to those clients with a resale tax number.
