possibly George Whitelock of Wilmington, Delaware, with very similar labeled example documented by the Delaware Historical Society, late 18th/early 19th century, four bowed doors and central drawer all with original brass grape cluster repousse pulls, square tapered inlay cuffed legs, white pine and maple secondaries, illegible period paper label to the underside, 38-1/4 x 72-3/4 x 26 in.
Note: Similar example documented as 1929.001 by the Delaware Historical Society. Form is a very close match, and dimensions are nearly identical. The sideboard offered here is lacking the poplar secondary wood and has oval brasses instead of the octagonal brasses of the labeled example.
