The Swan, not apparently signed, carved white marble on marble plinth, 50-1/4 in. with plinth, with a 24-1/2 in. laminated pedestal;. Condition: good condition. Notes: A plaque mounted to the pedestal indicates "The sculpture was unveiled by James B. Hunt, Governor of North Carolina and Edmund B. Fitzgerald, President of Northern Telecom Inc., on the occasion of the dedication of the Digital Switching System Facility, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, May 15, 1981.
