Sectional Server
British, 19th century, mahogany and brass-mounted oval tray fitted with a lidded tureen and four-lidded sectional trays, each with blue and white decoration and impressed "Davenport" mark, 20-1/2 x 17-3/4 in.. Condition: one lid with repaired cracks with discoloration to underside, ceramic otherwise in very good condition with scattered minor surface flaws, mahogany tray with separations and scattered minor losses to gallery, separation to bottom board with some losses at outer edges and later braces to underside. Provenance: Belonged to Charles Thalhimer's father, William B. Thalhimer; Estate of Charles G. Thalhimer, Richmond, Virginia
