Japanese, late 19th/early 20th century: top and bottom of the round box with conforming decoration of facing foo lions, inscribed stone center with Buddhist symbol, border banding, six-character seal mark, 6-1/2 x 11 in.; the charger with bird and floral design, 15-1/4 in. diameter.
