Tall Case Clock probably Austrian, the paint dated 1780, eight-day works, the boldly painted case with arched pediment and door, floral, grain and faux-painted decoration, the painted metal dial with Roman chapter rings, pendulum and weights, 85 x 19 x 12 in. extensive losses, distress and repainting to dial, the case generally good condition, scattered surface wear, paint losses with some retouch, interior repainted, side panels and brown moldings likely repainted, repairs and restorations at feet, bottom of case possibly truncated.
