.36 caliber, 7-1/2 in. round barrel, silver blade front sight, inspection mark under barrel, "ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S.AMERICA" on top of barrel, serial number 10649 at four places under frame, 649 evident on wedge, no number evident on cylinder, brass trigger guard and backstrap, "COLT'S PATENT" on left of frame, 13-1/4 in. overall
