Figured Mahogany Sideboard
Georgetown area, 1800-1815, figured mahogany veneers, five dovetailed drawers with yellow pine linings, one fitted with cellaret dividers, over two doors with faux tambour facing and open interior, original brasses, 39-1/2 x 69 x 28-3/4 in., cracks, stains and finish distress to top with 4 x 2 in. patch at left edge, cracks, patches, checking and veneer distress to drawer facings, some with blistering and varnish distress, minor losses to beading, underside of top with later bracing.
