Chinese, early 20th century, a standing ram with long curving horns, symmetrically decorated with dragons, cats, bunnies, phoenix, and fish, on turquoise blue enamel ground, with accents of un-enameled copper surface to hooves, horns, ears, and lips, 13 in.; two piece censor comprising a cylindrical top with pierced windows surmounted by un-enameled copper pagoda roof with articulated ornaments, fitted to a squat round bottom with handles, supported on three figural legs, with floral decoration on turquoise blue enamel ground, 14-1/2 in., Provenance: Private Collection, Virginia

Condition

areas of glue repairs and re-soldering to ram's ears and horns, areas of wear and possible retouch to interior of censor legs, glaze voids to censor interior, losses and cracks to enameled surfaces on ram and censor, other typical surface wear and abrasions consistent with age and use˜˜
Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser’s risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items. Items purchased from our Asheville auction facility not picked up within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item.
