English, circa 1820, transfer decoration on cover depicting figures in an elaborate interior with dog, body depicting the errand boy on horseback motif and two women, two applied handles, platform base with shell and floral decoration, impressed Clews crown mark, 9-1/2 x 13-1/2 x 7-3/4 in., cover with three chips to underside, discoloration to interior of body, minor surface abrasions.
