probably American, circa 1820s, with white marble top over a concave skirt with bookmatch highly figured veneers, gilt bronze mounted columns, mirror back, mirror flanked by figured mahogany pilasters, bronze mounted ebonized feet, 32 x 38-1/2 x 19-1/2 in.

marble top replaced (formerly fitted with a wood top), mirror plate probably replaced (not removed for exam), some sun fading and finish distress, especially at front columns, corners of skirt formerly fitted with mounts, now missing
