British, 19th century, finely painted and gilt in the Chinoiserie taste, circular top with hand painted foliage and tropical birds centering a cartouche with landscape, peacock and fountain, skirt with three dovetailed drawers with rosewood veneered interiors, decorated pedestal base with scroll knees and lions paw feet, 28 x 39 in.

good condition overall, some crazing and surfaced distress, top with minor shrinkage cracks, some areas of paint retouch, later 1 in. riser between pedestal and top, top of pedestal with chips and repairs, scattered minor pest damage (one foot riser with associated loss), one drawer lacking escutcheon, drawers fit tightly and lacking key
