monumental pair of landscapes: Mountan Stream with Distant Pond; A Waterfall, signed lower right "Clarence Roe", oil on canvas, 60 x 40 in.; matching 19th century gilt wood and composition frames, original stretcher and tacking edges, stretcher marks, accretion, grime and heavy yellowed varnish, canvas loose on the "Stream" and "Waterfall" with two punctures at bottom; frames with abrasions and losses to composition.
