British or possibly coastal North Carolina, late 18th century, figured single board top tilting over box form support on tripod base, old surface with rich reddish brown color, 28-1/2 x 33-1/4 x 34 in.
good condition overall in old surface, repair at wooden hinge, break and repair at one ankle with associated patch, other cracks and distress to pedestal at leg attachments
