British, 18th century, finely crafted of dense mahogany, dovetailed drawers with oak linings, original brass drawer pulls, fitted desk interior, probably original tall straight bracket feet, rich dark color, 42-3/4 x 40-1/2 x 21-1/2 in.. Condition: fallboard hinges replaced, scattered surface stains and finish losses especially on top, underside with later brown paint, glue repairs with minor losses at one rear facing and case side.
