British or possibly American, 18th century, piecrust top tilting on a birdcage support, baluster-turned tripod base, 44-1/2 in. tilted. Condition: break and repair to top, scattered cracks and patches at piecrust edge, piecrust molding on top applied and likely later in date, leg joints with cracks and somewhat loose, varnish bloom, some patches to birdcage, other repairs and restorations.
