British/American, 18th century, spread winged phoenix resting on a leafy plinth, flanked by carved and gilt scrolled pediment, carved and gilt streamers, mirror plate with gilt and molded surround, 42 x 19 in.

very good overall, some restorations at gilt pediment scrolls, other gilding wear and scattered retouch, restorations at some scroll tips and other typical repairs and flaws, mirror plate possibly original (not removed for exam)
