probably British, late 18th century, well carved frame with leaf and rosette decorations, cartouche form beveled mirror plate, 29 x 19 in. - Provenance: Private Collection, Asheville, North Carolina
scattered cracks, separations, and repairs to frame, repairs and possible loss of appliqu‚ at center bottom, very minor losses to carved elements (one piece off but present) , other gilding wear and one minor chip at top (hanging screw protruding at top) , mirror plate probably replaced
