Tang or Tang style, bearded Semitic falconer wearing a pointed cap with traces of red paint, sancai glazed tunic and boots, with a falcon perched on his right arm, holding a ball in his left hand, 15 in.; warrior figure wearing an animal mask headdress, standing in combative pose with one arm raised, the other holding a hilt, covered in a straw glaze, 14 in.   - Provenance: Roy M. falconer with glaze flaking and firing cracks (as made), small chips/edge wear; warrior with large firing cracks and repaired breaks throughout, large vertical crack at base (separating but holding), loss to sword, chips and losses
