Note: Fuxing (also referred to as "Fu") is one of theÿSanxing,ÿa group of deities in Chinese folk religion and mythology who preside over the stars/astrological bodies Jupiter, Ursa Major, and Canopus. The other two deities being Luxing and Shouxing, the three are referred to collectively asÿFulushouÿandÿare revered as the embodiments of Fortune, Prosperity, and Longevity. Fuxing is traditionally depicted wearing scholar's robes with a scroll in hand, and is also frequently shown holding a child.ÿ
