early 19th century, finely painted with continuous scene of birds pecking and preening including peacocks, roosters, pheasants, and various raptors shown with blooming prunus, rocks, bamboo, peonies and large moths and butterflies, diaper outer border with small vignettes of birds and flowers, deep inner border of yellow, red and blue fretwork with more vignettes, large flower cluster in bottom, 6-1/4 x 15-1/2 in.; with footed wooden stand,. Condition: generally good condition, some wear to enamel and gilding, a few anomalies as made; the wooden stand is a little too small for the foot of the bowl.
