early 19th century, case set with black leather and brass tacking and edge mounts, open interior, brass carrying handles, 19-1/2 x 42 x 21 in.
some splits and distress to leather including at proper left side and at top, one split with old patch and repair, other surface wear to leather, some minor losses to brass tacking, brass catch for lid is broken, scattered dents and distress to brass mounts
