Giltwood Mirror
British or possibly Continental, 18th century, elaborate gessoed and gilt, frame with rocaille stylized leaf and architectural column decoration, sides set with fruit and flower streamers with early distressed mirror plate, 47-1/2 x 20-1/2 in. scattered cracks to carved elements, distress to gilding with some areas of retouch, restorations to one scroll at top of cartouche and one leaf appliqué left of bottom cartouche, back with yellow paint, losses to silvering on mirror plate.
