of bottle form, with applied chilong to body on a chrysanthemum ground, Greek key border, apocryphal Qianlong mark to base, 11 in.
Note: Exceptional blue and white vase with an applied dragon crawling around the neck of the vase as if to accentuate the vessel's shape. Chrysanthemums and tendrils flow around the entire vase. The chrysanthemum is a much loved flower in China and is often portrayed in pictures. It is a symbol of joy and a wish for peaceful retirement.
