(Gillsville, Georgia, 20th century) speckled olive green alkaline glaze, two large glass runs down from spout, applied facial features, inset kaolin eyes with blue painted pupils, broken china teeth, large ears and nose, pronounced chin, short spout, applied strap handle, inscribed on back "Oct. 4 1997, Hewell's Pottery Celebrates Lanier Meaders 80th Birthday", signed on base "Chester Hewell" and "CSA" with museum number "5P-211" on base, 10-3/4 in.
