(Gillsville, Georgia, b. 1950) unusual glaze with runny green and black glaze runs over a paint rock style orangish brown alkaline glaze, applied facial features including twisted horns, thin pinched curved nose, open mouth with broken china teeth, pronounced chin and ears, short spout with short applied strap handle, inscribed on base "Chester Hewell", 10-1/2 in.
