British, three dimensional central figure of Charles I seated in an arched back throne with scrolled arms flanked by urns with embroidered flowers, under an arched and scalloped niche terminating with embroidered "C R" over a lower cartouche with the date "1646", worked in silk and metallic thread in high relief on silk ground, figure with modeled wax head, glass eyes, and probably human hair, 16-1/4 x 12-1/2 in.; carved wood frame 19-1/4 x 15 in. - Provenance: Property from the Collection of Dudley and Constance Godfrey
