Note:This image may represent a time before the Boston Tea Party in Boston, 1773. The event was in response to the British Tea Act and Discontent with the Townsend Acts. Demonstrators, some disguised as Native Americans, boarded ships and destroyed an entire shipment of tea sent by the East India Company. The British response escalated into what would become the American Revolution.
