Carved Bamboo Brush Pot
Chinese, 19th/20th century: carved hardstone [ruyi-]form brush holder, Buddhist symbol and [chilong], 2-1/2 x 6-1/2 in., [good condition]; bamboo brush pot carved with eight fairies in a landscape, 5-1/2 in., [surface wear at rim, wax residue to base] . Provenance: Collection of Mrs. and Mrs. Phillip McDonald, Trinity, North Carolina
Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser’s risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges.
