Chinese, Qing Dynasty, probably 18th century, gentleman with a playful foo dog, very finely rendered figure depicted seated, a foo dog playing with his earring, finely detailed with incised decoration with red and green polychrome highlights, two-character mark at back, set on a later fabric-lined base, 4-1/4 in.. Condition: excellent condition, lacking toes at proper left foot (polished and apparently as made), some natural inclusions to stone. Provenance: Said to be from the Willoughby Family (information regarding the Willoughby Family available)
